Dear Family and Friends,
Once again, not much time. But we saw tons of miracles this week! We taught a member last Sunday, and her boyfriend of many years was there. We taught the tree of life, and he felt the Spirit so much that he wanted to take the missionary lessons! It was incredible! We're passing him to the Anziani because we can't teach him without a woman present, and he lives too far away. But we're so excited for him! Then last night, we were teaching Lorella. Her son was very anti everything, but we had brought a member who talked to him for a while. He came out tame as a lamb, and now HE wants to take the lessons and learn more! Pray for Lorella! She is getting an operation today, and we are committing her to stop smoking on Friday!!! We're doing a pretty intense program with her, but it's guaranteed to work, and based on faith, prayer, and following a set of rules (to avoid Pavlov's dog symptoms... hard to explain in very little time but maybe you get the idea). :) We are also teaching a family from Ghana! We found them doing 'casa.' We taught them a lesson about families and bore testimony that they could be an eternal family. We're teaching them again tomorrow night, and they are SO beautiful!
I know that this work is true. I knew it before I left, but every time I can bear testimony of the Book of Mormon, eternal families, the living prophet, the Restoration, and temples, the Spirit confirms it 10 x's stronger, and I can never deny it. Thank you for your responses to my challenge on reading every morning! It's great to hear about the miracles you're seeing in your lives!
I love you all so much! Keep the faith, and know that your Father in Heaven loves you more than you could ever imagine!
